Finished filming and editing

I have finished filming my media piece i started off by filming the scripted piece first because i could center the rest of the filming around that with characters ect. i chose to do it round a table as it gives the scene more instead of them standing around talking. i then filmed the first scene/ flashback sort of scene. i chose to film it near a buisness park so it gave the scene that city sort of look. in that scene i used a handheld point of view shoot as it gives a good effect of you being there. the final scene ( the kill scene) i used a dentist surgery as the chairs they have are sort of thing you see in some torture scenes with them chained in to an operation chair. i chose not to show what the injection did to him as it would spoil the film and teasers dont tend to show what happens. so the scene with him covered wouldnt acctuly be in the film it would show what happened.

once i got all the filming done i then went straight to editing it together, i used an old style look for the flashback scene so it looks like it is looking back at what happened. i then used a pastle effect so there was no solid edges. then for the rest of the scenes i used a black and white tint which gives it a gangster and horror feel to it. also it gives the engima of that, will the acctual film be in black and white or is it just black and white for the trailers or is it black and white in places of the film? i then put some fades and dissovles in for trasitions between scenes so that it follows throught it. i also choose not to put in a soundtrack as it gives more focus to the teaser trailer and builds up suspence which most horrors do. i got the idea to not use a soundtrack for the film no country for old men by the coen brothers which uses no music through the movie at all which gave such a good effect of suspense which made the film better. i changed the title font to a different font than the one i choose earlyer on as it didnt fit with the look of the trailer. i also put it in black and white as the trailer is mostly black and white. overall the filming and the editing went well and the teaser trailer looks rather good.
